I've been staying with my brother the past week, and this is the stack I brought with me. I hadn't realized until I took this photo I had a specific color scheme going on. I'm looking forward to learning and growing from these books, as well as the ones on my nook.
Happy weekend from me and Roger. It's been a hectic month, but it's starting to slow down. I'm excited to share more about what I've been reading lately. Love you all and I'm grateful you're here. 💛😊
Book Review: The Black Kids by Christina Hammonds Reed
I continue to struggle with my health situation, and I've been feeling a lot because of it. I've been tired, and I've missed being more active here. This book, however, is making me feel seen and less alone.
Giveaway! If you've been following me for a while here you might've noticed my deep love of @hannahbrencher. She's one of my favorite writers, and she recently came out with a new book titled Fighting Forward. This was exactly the kind of read I needed as the year started out. It's been such a chaotic time for so long now, and I appreciated all that this book shared.
