What I’ve Been Wearing: Fall 2016

The weather has been pretty all over the place where I live, which has made getting dressed in the morning a little bit tricky. Still, it’s helped me get pretty creative with my outfits. I particularly enjoy dressing for cool weather, so I’m glad to be able to share some of my favorite casual outfits.

Thin sweaters are great when it’s a little cool and I don’t feel like dealing with layers. The boots I’m wearing in the photo above are some of my recent favorites. My feet tend to get particularly cold, so boots are the way to go when it’s chilly out.

Beanies are also one of my favorite cold-weather accessories. I have quite a few of them, and I love that they can add a different touch to an outfit I’ve already worn several times. This green sweater has been one of most-worn pieces recently, and I love the comfort, warmth, and look that it provides.

The outfit above consists of my favorite pair of jeans, a black cardigan, and a v-neck, along with a beanie and some fingerless gloves. Cardigans have been a very consistent part of my wardrobe recently. They provide warmth, and I’m able to mix and match to create a variety of looks.

Lastly, this oversized cardigan has worked well for me with a variety of outfits. It’s been one I’ve worn during some of the colder days, and I love how comfortable it is.

This is just a sample of the outfits I’ve been wearing lately. As it gets colder, I’ll likely be adding more layers and consistently wearing beanies. Colder weather means, to me, that it’s possible to look cute and be comfortable at the same time. I hope I’ve given you some ideas for outfits to wear during the colder seasons.
